Some of us struggled with finding a magical name, for others we knew immediately what our name would be. Here is the story of how my son found his name.
Daniel knew he wanted a magical name and he knew he wanted it to be related to trees (my little druid). Particularly the Spruce.
Without even knowing, he had chosen to align himself with a tree whose associations are: Grounding, The Earth, The North, Versatility; all things that my son needs in his life.
We began to research the spruce and came across a list of the world's oldest trees. We read about Old Tjikko, a spruce tree in Sweden estimated to be around 9,550 years old, making it the world's oldest living Clonal Norway Spruce (read more https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Tjikko)
Daniel knew immediately that he wanted to be Tjikko. Not "Old Tjikko" because as he puts it "that is the tree's name,
I need my own name."
After doing the math it comes out that he needs to add an extra "o" to the end making the spelling Tjikkoo.
The moral of the story is that our names will come to us. Sometimes they take a little work and bit of fiddling with the math, but in the end we find the name that is ours.
"Why does the name have to match your Birth Number? Because your Birth Number is unchanging. People can change their names, addresses, etc., but they cannot change their date of birth. By choosing a new name that matches that Birth Number, you are then aligning yourself with that same vibration; the vibration of the moment you chose to be born." - Raymond Buckland
