Virgo Full Moon in Pisces The Full Snow Moon and also The Hunger Moon This is a time of year when people often spent a lot of time indoors due to deep snow fall. Hunting was very difficult and larders were getting bare. Being cooped up for the long winter months didn't make family relations easy either. This combination created a lot of time for self evaluation and planning for the future. Because even though it may have seemed bleak, everyone held on to the fact that Spring was just around the corner! There are many interesting contrasts at work during this full moon. The Virgo Moon, all about the proper order and critical thinking, shines full and bright in the sign of Pisces, often involving deep emotional issues. So if your inner voice is saying things that are a little painful to hear, try to put the emotion aside and fix the root problem. This will make you happiest in the end. This phase is all about complimentary equals. The many contrasting influences of Earthy Virgo and Watery Pisces can help you find your center, your balance.   Book Fair Exchange & Divination Practice Night
When: Feb. 27th. 2016 Event Location: 1406 S 3rd St in Las Vegas, Nevada Event Time: 5 PM to 9 PM Bring Books, Get Books! Get a Free Reading! From 5-9 pm on Saturday, February 27th, Inner Circle Sanctuary will be hosting a Book Fair Exchange where you can bring in your old magical books and trade them in for new old ones. If you don't have books to trade, that's okay, too! We'll be selling the books for just $2 for paperbacks and $4 for hard covers. ALL monies will be donated to ARS Communitas at Haven Craft. Please bring books that are magical, Wiccan, pagan, historical, mythological, herbal, or gardening in nature. Melissa at Haven Craft will be accepting your book donations early if you can't make it to the event. The students of Inner Circle Sanctuary will also be practicing their divination skills. Elders of the group will be demonstrating and then the students will practice on each other or on YOU! Any and all divinations are free but tip jars will be displayed for donations to the same organization. Feel free to bring your own divinations to demonstrate as well. This is a pot luck event. Please feel free to bring some yummies to share. We don't expect a lot of cash flow, just book flow at this event... but if we do happen to collect any money, we are happy to give it to ARS Communitas for their donation of space for our event. The desert chill after sundown did not damper the festivities. Brighid's Bed crafted by Lady Leola and her maiden was extraordinarily beautiful and surely sufficed as an offering to the Goddess.
