At ICS, we teach our students to be leaders. One of the stepping stones to becoming a leader is becoming a lecturer.
Please join Inner Circle Sanctuary for a lecture put on by our 1st degree initiates.

They will discuss the natural cycle of the year and how we can attune to it by following the Sabbats and living the wheel of the year.
Wicca and witchcraft (to ICS) are both spiritual and practical and each one benefits the other.

As well as learning the spiritual aspect of attuning with nature, they will also show us the practical things we can do during each Sabbat season: meditations, rituals, crafts, personal and group working, etc.
This event will be held online through Zoom.

We ask for a non-compulsory donation of $10 or whatever you can afford. All money collected will be given to a local charity.
Goody bags will be available as part of that $10 donation. They will include all kinds of goodies that the students put together:
Handouts with sabbat-specific recipes
Candles
Stones
Fairy protection bottle kit
Sabbat/ritual oil and incense

If you’d like to attend, but are out of town, please message us and we will give you instructions.

Goody bag pickup will be the day of the event from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm at the

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Something Extra ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

During our Wheel of the Year lecture over the weekend, we learned the dark half of the year, specifically Yule, is a time for reflection and working on ourselves. A time to take stock of the things we need and those we don’t.

Now that Spring has sprung, it is time for us to act on those reflections: hence, Spring Cleaning. But, spring cleaning isn’t just about cleaning out those closets and garages. It’s a time to clean out habits we don’t like and thoughts that no longer serve us.

Here is a spell/meditation to help work through the changes we wish to make, because it certainly is not an easy task.
You will need
*1 black candle (to absorb negative thoughts)
*1 green candle (for fertility and growth)
*Anointing oil of your choosing to correspond with what you want to work on. A good choice is always dragons blood oil, success oil, or even cinnamon oil (which is my personal favorite to help light a fire under my ass)
*Your favorite incense that puts you in a good mood. Frankincense is always a good all-purpose.

-Light your incense.
-Anoint your green candle deosil while thinking about what you’re going to work on changing.
-Light your unanointed black candle. Now think about the things that are stopping you from changing for the better. Focus on the negativity you feel: fear, doubt, complacency. Let the black candle absorb those negative thoughts and burn them up.
-Once you feel ready, turn your attention to the green candle and light it. Now, think of all the changes you want to make and all the positive things that will come from it. If any of those negative thoughts try to wriggle out, turn your eyes to the black candle and pour those nasty thoughts into it to burn away.
-Keep going on and on until you’re satisfied and feel more optimistic about your work.
-Snuff the black candle and say something along the lines of “I release my negative thoughts.”
-Snuff the green candle and say something like “Let my positive thoughts germinate and bloom.”
Go back to these candles any time you feel the need to reassess and help yourself along.
