Divination Night

Divination is the art of using tools to discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means.

Inner Circle Sanctuary requires our students to learn at least three divination methods. This is a night for them to practice their divination craft(s).

We ask for a non-compulsory $10 donation or whatever you can afford. Even if you can’t donate, you’re still welcome to come. 100% of the donations will be given to a local charity. Message us for meeting information.

Your $10 will cover any and all readings you want!!

There are hundreds of books written about the Tarot. There are classes ranging from free to hundreds of dollars $$$ for HOW to use the tarot. There are legends and stories and promises. Let ICS uncomplicated what the Tarot is and what it can do.

Our events are always potluck and family friendly, so feel free to bring a dish to share if you’d like.

We ask for a $10 donation for our events. All money collected will be given to a local community charity.

ICS Movie Something: Tarot

There are no sacred rules of Tarot.

You do not have to be given a Tarot deck.

The Tarot was not invented by Ancient Egyptians, but by Renaissance era Italians, just so you know.

All that being said, if you love horror movies, and Tarot, this is such a fun movie to watch (and maybe own)!

I appreciated the astrological references in the movie, and the Houses spread the Tarot reader used, which is much like Lady Morgana's 'Whole Life' readings.

If you don't know, Lady Morgana used a Houses of astrology reading, with a main card per House, and a clarifier card for each card.

Lady Morgana was voted Best Psychic Reader in Las Vegas at least once, and had a steady, committed clientele who sought her out for regular and one off readings at Cat N Cauldron and Bell Book and Candle.

While we don't teach Tarot as a part of our curriculum, we do teach Tarot as a part of the Divination requirement for Initiation. we often teach classes on Tarot that go beyond fortune telling.

Our Founders loved movies like this. They are super enjoyable. And if it keeps you out of church, well then even better. Make yourself some popcorn and have some fun with this movie and your cards!

Did you know that Jacqueline Stallone read butt prints? She called it "the ancient art of Rumpology," or "butt reading," divining a person's past and/or future by analyzing "the lines, crevices, dimples, and folds of the buttocks."

Tyromancy is the practice of telling fortunes with cheese. Bibliography is the art of fortune telling with books. Here's our favorite melding of that particular art.

Divinations can be adapted to anything by anyone. Come check out this class and why divinations don't have to be so hard.

This psychic fair is a way for our students to shine and to read for other people rather than just their classmates.

The divination tools used this evening will vary from the traditional tarot cards, to runes, to oracle decks, and whatever else they feel like working with.

The creation and history of Tarot is a human story. No Pharaohs, no Councils attempting to create an "Universal Language" and if you come talking about "The Book Of Thoth" let it be about Etteila's deck, or Aleister Crowley's book, or as a metaphor.

One of our best-loved mottoes is "Faith and Fact". You can have both. You can know the facts based on actual evidence, and still have Faith the Tarot will work for you, whichever way you work with it.

This is an excellent site for evidence based knowledge of the Tarot.

Intro to Tarot event

Each attendee not only received a free tarot bag, candle, incense, and an oil for divination, they also received a couple of great handouts, one of which was Lady Morgana's Tarot layout and a spectacular booklet on favorite layouts.
